Nathan Cool is the founder of WaveCast.com and is a forecaster for SwellWatch.com. Nathan provides oceanographic monitoring and surf forecasts, and has developed proprietary automation software for wave and wind prediction as well.
Nathan's most popular forecast is for Southern California, which is updated each Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Nathan has also forecasted specifically for Central America, the U.S. East Coast, Northern California and Central California.
Nathan is also the author of the world's first comprehensive book on surf forecasting, The WaveCast Guide to Surf Forecasting, and has given talks at Scripps Institute of Oceanography and Loyola Marymount University as well.
